ローカル・ランチ - Nasi Lemak

本来はマレーシア料理のナシ・レマク、ココナツミルクとパンダンの葉で煮込んだライス料理、シンガポールでも定番朝食メニューだ。実はマレーシアで料理教室に行ったぐらいナシ・レマク好き。ただし、簡単に食べられる普段の料理だといって油断するなかれ。店によって当たりはずれがすごい。Nasi Lemak is a rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaves. While it is considered to be Malaysian origin, Nasi Lemak is a regular breakfast menu in Singapore as well. My love for Nasi Lemak took me to Malaysia several years ago to take up a cooking class. Caution is required when selecting a store to buy/eat Nasi Lemak as quality varies significantly depending on the shop

シンガポールの同僚を相手にナシ・レマクに対する情熱を語っていたら、ランチ用にとわざわざ買ってきてくれた。紙でくるっと包まれている本格派。
