Singapore’s coffee culture is evolving – fast. Unlike Australia, it is extremely difficult to find a quality cup of flat white in Singapore, often the flat white search ends up in disappointment. (I consider a sweet Singaporean style coffee (Kopi-c)as a different category in this argument.)
Tiong
Bahru
A friend of mine heard about ‘forty hands’ in Tiong Bahru.
The café opened its door in 2010 and is located in Tiong Bahru’s trendy but
traditional area. This area is a home to many cafes, eatery spots and unique
independent stores.
Forty hands offers quality coffees uses sustainably produced
specialty beans. No wonder the café is popular not just among coffee loving
locals but home (coffee) sick Australians. The café also offers a range of quality
sweets and b/f and lunch options. Yes, it has been added to my ‘regular’ café list.
